Married: Kathleen & Gavin

I had so much fun capturing Kathleen & Gavin’s wedding day at Liberty Mountain Resort!  Their goal for the big day was for everyone to have a fun and relaxed time, and I would say they accomplished that! The couple arrived at the ceremony site on golf carts, and each walked down the aisle to a special song.  Guests laughed and cried throughout the ceremony as they said their vows written to each other.  And after the I do’s it was time to party!  The kids loved swimming in the pool and playing corn hole and the adults enjoyed dinner and drinks on the patio.  Instead of wedding cake they served mini funnel cakes that guests could garnish with a variety of toppings (so fun!).  The band kept the tunes playing throughout the night, and I think it’s safe to say that everyone had a great time!  Thank you Kathleen & Gavin for allowing me to capture your special day!

Married: Nancy & Bryan

One of the best things about my job is sharing in the joy of so many happy occasions, and I have been honored to capture many happy times for Bryan and Nancy.  Starting with both of their senior portraits years ago, and I remember after Nancy’s senior session her mom said to me, “If there is a wedding in the future you will be the first to know!”  Neither of us would have guessed at the time that when it was time for a wedding I would literally be the first to know.  I was so excited when Bryan asked me to photograph his proposal to Nancy!  So while she thought we were just doing a few photos to celebrate Bryan’s graduation from college, it was really a surprise proposal!  It has been so much fun watching their relationship grow, and being a part of so many happy memories.  And their wedding day was just beautiful!  This was my first time at this venue, Box Hill Mansion in York, PA, and it was the perfect setting for a garden wedding.  Nancy was a beautiful bride, and the whole event was filled with love and joy.  From the flowers to the dresses and all of the little details, it truly was a picture perfect day!

Thank you Nancy & Bryan for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  I wish you many years of happiness, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter of your lives holds!

Not only are you extremely talented, with years of photography experience and dedicated to your career… you are truly a gift to all those that meet you, personal basis or professionally. I have had the pleasure of meeting you when you were just a teenager and blessed with your steadfast friendship ever since we said hello. You are supportive to all your clients, helpful with clothing advice, poses and unique settings. Your imagination and willingness to capture your subjects in just the right light has proven to be as eager to say yes as your clients request. I have seen you in the grasses, behind the bushes, up on rock ledges and you have even once been in a crane as it lifted you high above the huge company photo to be sure to get all the people in the frame! This is just a glimpse at what you can expect to gain from your sitting with Brienna Smith- Waybrant of Picture This Portraits and Special Events.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the gallery of exquisite photos of our amazing son and his beautiful bride! I am excited every time you are booked for our family portraits because I know that not only my family is ultra special to me, but the moments you stop in time for us through photography will grace our homes, our walls, our scrapbooks and our heart forever.

You are, truly one of a kind, an artist, a special lady and an amazing friend. Forever & Always…

Married: Sarah & Matt

A little rain (ok a LOT of rain) wasn’t going to get Sarah and Matt down on their wedding day last Saturday!  I’ve always heard that it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day, and if that’s true this couple will have lots of luck!  But more importantly, I know they have lots of love!  Sarah and Matt’s wedding was such a joyful event full of love and laughter with family and friends.  They had a beautiful Catholic ceremony followed by an afternoon reception at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg.  We were able to get some fun photos of the couple and the bridal party in the hotel, and they were such a great group! I loved that Sarah and Matt asked their guests to request the songs that they would like to dance to on their RSVP cards, and I’m pretty sure they had the best play list ever! One of my favorite parts of the day was the sing-a-long that occurred on the dance floor when Bohemian Rhapsody was played!  Thank you Sarah & Matt for allowing me to be a part of your big day!

Engagement Session Renee & Eli

I always enjoy going to new places for sessions, and I was so excited to photograph Renee and Eli’s engagement portraits in the little old town of Elverson, PA.  This was the place that Eli proposed, so it was the perfect place to capture their love story.  It was another crazy hot day, but we were able to find some shade in the beautiful forest with a creek.  Here are just a few favorites from our session, and I can’t wait to capture the big day for this awesome couple!

Destination Wedding: Taylor & Jon

When Taylor and Jon asked me to photograph their destination wedding in Costa Rica I was thrilled!  The resort was beautiful and a photographer’s dream with white walls, arched windows, and picture perfect scenes everywhere.  Taylor and Jon chose a rooftop location for the ceremony, with views of the mountains.  38 of their closest friends and family were able to attend and celebrate their big day.  Thank you so much Taylor and Jon for allowing me to capture your wedding day!
